TRUSTEES

Dr Donald John MacLean

  • Dr Donald John MacLean (BSc, Heriot-Watt University; PhD, University of Wales, Trinity Saint David) is an elder of Cambridge Presbyterian Church, where he preaches regularly. With a background in senior leadership in the corporate finance sector, Dr MacLean also serves as a trustee of the Banner of Truth and of Tyndale House, Cambridge. He is editor of Foundations, the theological journal of Affinity, and of The Presbyterian Network, and writes for Ligonier's TableTalk and other Reformed publications. He is married to Ruth and has two children, Hannah and Jonathan.

Rev Dr Jon Payne

  • Jon Payne is a trustee of Westminster UK, and has served as senior pastor of Christ Church Presbyterian (PCA) in Charleston, South Carolina, since 2013. He is executive coordinator of the Gospel Reformation Network and adjunct professor of pastoral theology at WTS Philadelphia. In addition, Dr Payne is series co-editor (with Dr Joel Beeke) of the Lectio Continua Expository Commentary on the New Testament, a regular contributor to TableTalk Magazine, and author/editor of numerous books, including In the Splendor of Holiness: Rediscovering the Beauty of Reformed Worship for the 21st Century, John Owen and the Lord’s Supper, and A Faith Worth Teaching: The Heidelberg Catechism’s Enduring Heritage. He and his wife Marla have been married for 26 years and have two adult children.

Rev Benjamin Wontrop

  • Rev Benjamin Wontrop, minister of All Saints Presbyterian Church, completed his theological studies at Edinburgh Theological Seminary, Westminster Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. In 2016, having obtained a Masters of Divinity, he took up a call at the Presbyterian Church of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. In the spring of 2019, he was called back to the Northeast and to All Saints. Benjamin is married to Anna. They have three children, Joy, Ezra and Elizabeth.

Rev Paul Yeulett

  • Paul Yeulett (BSc, Newcastle; BTh, Highland Theological College; MTh, Edinburgh Theological Seminary) was born in Cambridgeshire and came to know the Lord Jesus Christ whilst a student of mathematics in Newcastle University.  He taught and led in a Gateshead state school for ten years whilst worshipping at Durham Presbyterian Church.  Paul first ministerial charge was at Shrewsbury Evangelical Church; since 2014 he has been the minister of London’s Grove Chapel, succeeding Mark Johnston. A Trustee of Affinity, Paul’s published books include Reformation Reboot!, Jesus and His Enemies, and Time for Judgement.  Paul is married to Ruth and they have three children.

Rev David Pfeiffer

  • David Pfeiffer (MA, University of Cambridge; PGCE, University of Cambridge; Theological Studies at London Seminary), is a minister of Whaddon Road Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPCEW) in Cheltenham. He is the current Moderator of EPCEW, and he also examines prospective ministers in New Testament Greek. He has been a visiting lecturer in Old Testament at London Seminary since 2017.

Rev Dr David Gilbert

  • Rev. Dr. David Gilbert is the Pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Douglasville, GA where he has pastored for the past ten years.  He previously pastored Second Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City (2004-2014).  David is a graduate of RTS-Jackson (M.Div.) and of RTS-Charlotte (D.Min.).  He serves on the Twin Lakes Advisory Board.  He is also an Adjunct Homiletics Professor at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.  David has contributed articles to Tabletalk, The Gospel Reformation Network, and Reformation21.org.  His doctoral work is focused on J.C. Ryle's model of ministry in preaching to the heart.  David is married to Michelle, and they have four daughters. 

Rev Dr Neil Stewart

  • Dr. Neil Stewart is the Senior Minister of the First Presbyterian Church, S.C, USA. He was elected a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health in 1997. As a pediatrician, Neil served in the historic Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. Sensing a call to ministry, Neil and his family moved to Jackson, Mississippi, where he graduated from the Master of Divinity program at RTS, Jackson in 2002. As a pastor, he has served as the Senior Minister of the Second Presbyterian Church of Yazoo City, Mississippi (2002-2006), Kirk O’ the Isles Presbyterian Church, Savannah, Georgia (2006-2016), and Christ Covenant Church ARP, Greensboro, North Carolina (2016-2023). Dr. Stewart is married to Catherine and they have 6 children.

Rev Dr Joseph Pipa

  • Rev Dr Pipa was the Director of Advanced Studies and Associate Professor of Practical Theology at WTS in CA from 1990 until February 1998 . There he directed the Doctor of Ministry program and also taught systematic, historical, and practical theology on the Master's level. He was also the pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in America in Escondido, CA.

    As of January 1, 1998, Dr. Pipa became the first President of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Greenville, SC, where he and his wife now live.

Rev Dr David Garner

  • Rev Dr David Garner is Academic Dean, Vice President of Global Ministries, and Professor of Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary.

    A graduate of the University of North Carolina (BS, 1987), Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM, 1992) and Westminster Theological Seminary (PhD, 2002), David Garner has served in theological education, pastoral ministry, missions, and parachurch ministries since 1986. He has lived and taught in various parts of the world, including Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Dr Chad Van Dixhoorn

  • Dr. Chad Van Dixhoorn (MDiv, ThM, Westminster Theological Seminary; Ph.D, University of Cambridge, post-doctoral fellowship, British Academy) is Professor of Church History and Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte. A leading expert on the work of the Westminster Assembly, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society in recognition of his five-volume work The Minutes and Papers of the Westminster Assembly, 1643-1653 (Oxford University Press). He was a member of the Faculty of History of the University of Cambridge and held two fellowships at Wolfson College, Cambridge. Dr. Van Dixhoorn has also served as an honorary research fellow at the University of East Anglia in the U.K., and since 2023 as an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto. Ordained in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Dr. Van Dixhoorn has served as a pastor at Cambridge Presbyterian Church in the U.K. and at Grace Presbyterian Church in Vienna, Va. He and his wife Emily have five children.
