New scholarship launched

We are delighted to announce the launch of the 'Shepherds' Scholarship', made possible by a generous donation to Westminster Seminary.

A gift of £35,000 has been set aside to meet the financial needs of those who are training to be under-shepherds of Christ's flock.

Prospective students at Westminster will be able to apply for the scholarship to cover their tuition fees as they prepare for ministry. The scholarship has a special focus on supporting men who have a heart for church planting in Europe.

The donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, was drawn to the seminary "out of a belief in Westminster’s commitment to warm-hearted Presbyterianism and their goal to equip men to hold faithfully the Word of God."

Commenting on the gift, the donor hopes "that the Shepherd's Scholarship will receive additional donations from like-minded philanthropists, so that this initial sum can grow to cover many men in the years to come."

If you are thinking of training for Christian ministry, why not take a moment to look at our degree courses or use our online form to start your application?

The generosity of our supporters is a constant encouragement to us. If you would like to make a contribution towards the theological education of future ministers, you can do so online at any point. Feel free to contact us to find out more about our vision for training a new generation of men to promote the glory of Christ.
