Lucian

My name is Lucian, I am married with my beloved wife, Andreea. We have been blessed with three children (Sofia 11, Anastasia 8, Amos 6), and for twelve years I served in pastoral ministry in Romania. Through God’s providence, our family was brought to the UK, where a series of unexpected and difficult events made it clear that the Lord was not releasing us from ministry, but calling us more deeply into it. What felt at first like disruption became, in time, a renewed sense of divine constraint to serve Christ and His Church wherever He placed us.

I am currently in my third year of study with Westminster Seminary UK and serve as Ministry Assistant at Solihull Presbyterian Church, where I preach regularly (around five times a month) and assist in the wider pastoral work of the congregation. I have also begun the process of being licensed by the Presbytery of the EPCEW, as part of my preparation for ordained ministry. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a ThM in Christology with WSUK, followed (Lord willing) by PhD studies in Christology at PRTS, Westminster California, or GPTS. There is also a realistic prospect of being called as Associate Minister at Solihull Presbyterian Church in the coming year.

My desire is simple: to know Christ more deeply and to make him known faithfully through preaching, teaching, and pastoral care. I am particularly burdened to serve the Church with clear, Christ-centred theology that strengthens ordinary believers and equips future pastors.

I am deeply thankful for those who support theological training, and I count it a privilege to be invested in for the sake of Christ’s church, both now and for generations to come.
