Westminster’s 2025 Reformed Colloquium — 25–27 March, Budapest
We established our Reformed Colloquium to signal our solidarity with pastors and seminary leaders in Europe, and especially those in the former Soviet Union—and we were delighted to host our second one this Spring.
Held from 25–27 March in Budapest, Hungary, we welcomed 140 delegates from 16 different countries for three days of teaching, fellowship and collaboration, with the aim of mutually encouraging one another in our shared work to serve the Church in Europe.
This year, we hosted the Colloquium at the Benczúr Hotel, which helped facilitate a wonderful and strong sense of fellowship among delegates, with warm conversations carrying on throughout the day and into the night.
Alongside our own men—Ian Hamilton, Jon Payne, Donald John MacLean and Joseph Pipa—we were honoured to be addressed by leaders in the European Church, including men from Hungary, Latvia, Italy, Germany and Ukraine.
We hope in coming months to move towards tangible collaboration with a number of small seminaries, including that in Budapest itself, which is under the leadership of Peter Szabo. Please pray for our wisdom as we progress discussions.
