New Diploma in Biblical Studies Launched
Thank you for praying for our Diploma in Biblical Studies. By God’s grace, we were able to release Segment 1 ahead of schedule just before Christmas.
Although we’re not advertising the programme until 1st March—by which time Segment 2 courses will have been added—we rejoice that 21 men and women from the UK, US, South Korea, Romania and Colombia have already subscribed, with new enquiries coming in almost daily. We have received encouraging feedback: students are impressed by how in-depth the teaching is, which aims not just at the head but at the heart. Filming of Segment 3 is underway, and these will be released on 1st July.
“I am enjoying the course immensely, the content of the course, the way it is presented and the easily manageable online navigation system are of excellent quality. Perhaps most importantly, it is drawing me closer to the Lord and deepening my desire for His ways and my love for Him.” — Tony, Diploma student
Here’s a short summary about our Diploma in Biblical Studies: It consists of nine compulsory and two optional courses selected from the Master of Divinity degree, across Historical, Systematic, Biblical and Applied Theology and Apologetics.
It’s taught by experienced pastortheologians such as Dr Joseph Pipa, Dr Ian Hamilton and Dr Ben Dunson.
Their teaching—professionally filmed and produced—are presented in an online Learning Hub, supported by slides and notes, quizzes and assignments, and a carefully curated reading list.
Students work through the material at their own pace, guided and supported by a personal academic tutor.
While the Diploma is a stand-alone qualification, any Diploma graduate accepted onto one of our Masters degree courses will be able to transfer credits.
We are praying that the Diploma will be a springboard into ministerial training for future pastors; however, the course is equally for the layperson who simply loves Christ and wants to know Him better.
