I am married to Lois, and we have three children. I was born in Australia but moved to Ireland with my family in January 2022. During a time of discerning a call to ministry, the Lord in His providence provided us with an opportunity to move to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Northern Ireland, where I serve as a pastoral intern and study full-time to prepare for ministry at Westminster UK.
Recently, my ministry duties have included preaching around once a month, leading a home group, leading a prayer meeting, leading a book club, as well as engaging in youth work. While my wife and I seek to be willing to go wherever the Lord would call us, we recognise that there is great need in the Republic of Ireland. Not only are there relatively few churches in Ireland, but there are very few solid Reformed churches.
Whether the Lord would lead us to serve in the North or South of Ireland, my desire is to serve in pastoral ministry. Furthermore, as a Reformed Baptist, I am particularly passionate about promoting the confessionalism of the 17th-century Particular Baptists and the deep, biblical, God-honouring theology and worship of the Reformed tradition, which the lost (as well as Christians!) today are in such dire need of.
